Seventh House Marketing LLC Effective September 26, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Seventh House Marketing LLC ("Seventh House," "we," "us," "our") collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
It covers seventhhousemarketing.com, academy.seventhhousemarketing.com, Seventh House Academy, Seventh House Coffee Club, our newsletter, our social media accounts, and any services, courses, communities or events we offer through them (together, the "Services").
We are a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Illinois, with our principal place of business in Chicago, Illinois.
This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to it.
The short version
We collect what we need to run a marketing agency, teach courses and send email. We do not sell your information. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how our marketing performs. If you want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, email us and we will do it.

What we collect
Information you give us
Contact details. Your name, email address, phone number, business name and social media handles, when you fill in a form, buy something, join our list, message us, or apply for a job.
Purchase and billing information. What you bought, when, for how much, and the billing address and name associated with the payment. We never see or store your full card number. Card details go directly to our payment processor.
Account information. If you create an account to access a course or community, your login details, your progress through the material, and anything you post in the community.
Things you write to us. Emails, form submissions, direct messages, survey and questionnaire answers, replies to our emails, and anything you share in a community channel or on a call.
Client and project information. If you work with the agency, the information you give us to do the work, including brand assets, access to accounts you ask us to manage, and business details relevant to the project.
Job applications. If you apply for a role, your CV, portfolio, work history and anything else you send us.
Event information. If you attend a Seventh House Coffee Club event or another event we run, your registration details and any dietary or accessibility needs you tell us about.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our websites we automatically collect:
Your IP address and approximate location, derived from it
Your device type, operating system and browser
Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and what you clicked
The website or ad that sent you to us, and any campaign tags in the link
Whether you opened an email we sent and whether you clicked a link in it
Information from other sources
Our platforms. Kajabi, Kit, ManyChat, Squarespace and our payment processor each pass us information about how you interact with them.
Social media. If you interact with us on Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn, we may see your public profile information and anything you send us.
How we use it
We use this information to:
Deliver what you bought, including course access, community access and physical items
Process payments, issue receipts and handle refunds or billing problems
Send you service messages about your purchase, your account and your subscription
Send you marketing email, if you asked for it
Run and improve our websites, courses and community
Understand which of our marketing works and show ads to people who have already visited us
Answer your questions and provide support
Do the work, if you are an agency client
Consider your application, if you applied for a job
Keep records we are required to keep, including for tax
Protect against fraud, abuse and misuse of our Services
Comply with the law
Cookies and tracking
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work, such as keeping you logged in and remembering what is in your cart. Others help us understand how the site is used, or help our advertising work.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will break parts of the site, including checkout.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how our websites are used, including which pages people visit and how they arrive. Google sets cookies and collects usage data on our behalf, including approximate location, device and browser information. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across every website using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel on our websites. It records information about your visit, which pages you viewed and whether you made a purchase, and shares that with Meta Platforms, Inc.
If you give us an email address or phone number, for example at checkout, that information is converted into a scrambled, non-reversible form before it is sent. This lets Meta match your visit to a Meta account without receiving your details in readable form.
We use this to understand how our marketing is performing and to show ads to people who have already visited our site. You can control how Meta uses this information in your Meta ad settings, and you can limit tracking through your browser or device settings.
Instagram messaging
When you message us on Instagram, including through an automated keyword reply, that conversation and anything you give us in it is processed by Instagram and by ManyChat, the tool we use to manage those conversations.
If you give us your email address there, we add it to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
Marketing email. If you join our list, download a toolkit, or opt in anywhere else, we send you marketing email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every one. We do not add people to our marketing list without them opting in.
Service email. If you buy something, we send you email about that purchase: access details, receipts, onboarding, billing notices and support. These are not marketing and are sent whatever your marketing preferences are. You cannot unsubscribe from them while you hold an active purchase or subscription, because they carry information you need.
We can see whether you opened an email and whether you clicked a link in it. We use that to understand what is worth sending.
Who processes your information
These services process information on our behalf so we can run the business:

ManyChat: Manages our Instagram conversations

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what it does with information we pass to it.
We may also share information with our accountant, our bookkeeper and our professional advisers, where they need it to do their work, and with anyone we are legally required to share it with.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Customer and purchase records: as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes, which in the United States is generally at least seven years.
Course and community accounts: as long as your access is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back.
Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, and then a minimal record that you unsubscribed, so we do not add you again by mistake.
Job applications: up to one year, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Analytics data: according to the retention settings of the service holding it.
Your choices
Unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
See what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us at hello@seventhhousemarketing.com and tell us what you want. We will respond within a reasonable time and at no cost.
Two limits worth stating plainly. We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction records for tax. And if you ask us to delete your account while you hold an active course purchase, that ends your access, and all sales are final, so we will confirm with you before doing it.
Opt out of tracking. Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, your Meta ad settings, and your browser or device privacy settings.
Children
Our Services are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us at hello@seventhhousemarketing.com and we will delete it.
Where your information is held
The Services are hosted in the United States, and the services listed above process information in the United States.
If you access the Services from a region with data protection laws that differ from those of the United States, then by continuing to use the Services you are transferring your information to the United States and you agree to it being processed there.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we work with established platforms that maintain their own security programs. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Third-party links
Our Services link to websites we do not control. This Policy does not cover them. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you by email.
